Park House is a large 4 bedroom family house set in 2 and half acres of beautiful gardens with panoramic views over the Walkham Valley. This is an unbelievably calm & peaceful location but just 5 minutes away from Tavistock and 30 minutes from Plymouth.
Park House is a pet-friendly property with an abundance of spectacular riverside, country, forestry & moorland walks.
It's an ideal venue for families to relax & just gaze at the stars in the safe, secure, relaxing gardens.
The space
Park House is a large country house within stunning gardens with panoramic views over open countryside.
There is a large lounge area, with a log burner, 2 large formal sofas and views over the gardens, with patio doors leading to the garden.
The entire house is very light & airy with lots of windows overlooking the gardens & surrounding countryside.
In addition, there is a relaxing snug with 48inch Smart TV, sofas, comfy arm chairs & and selection of games.
There is a large kitchen diner with a very well equipped kitchen: 2 ovens; large fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer & plenty of crockery, pots, pans & utensils.
The dining table accommodates 8 guests & has lovely views over the garden.
The bedrooms are large & have excellent comfy beds & you will be assured of a very relaxed night’s sleep in these very quiet surroundings.
The large family bathroom has a extra long size bath, excellent power shower, toilet & wash hand basin. In addition, bedroom 4 has an en-suite bathroom. On the ground floor there is a cloakroom & toilet.
Parking is very plentiful - with a large driveway at the front of the property which easily accommodates 5 cars & is equipped with an EV charger.
Guest access
The entire house & its 2 & a half acre gardens are available for your usage.
Access to the property is very easy as there is a large driveway around the front of the house & there are no steps into the house.
There is a key box immediately adjacent to the house allowing easy guest access.
The locality is incredibly safe, friendly & very relaxing.
Other things to note
Guests can be assured of a very well equipped property in stunning surroundings with easy access on to Dartmoor National Park.

Tavistock - the local town - is a charming & just a 7 minute drive away. Tavistock is a wonderful historic town full of independent shops; great restaurants, coffee shops & has an award-winning Pannier Market (open Tuesday-Saturday). It is a terrific town to wander around with the Guild Hall definitely worth a visit to find out about the fascinating history of the area.
There is a beautiful park - The Meadows - through which the fast flowing River Tavy runs.
This is a gorgeous place to wander through, with a lovely children’s play area; feed the ducks in the canal, enjoy an ice cream & go for a swim in the Meadows indoor swimming pool.
“The Wharf” is a local venue for live music with a full collection of music events & gigs.
